The break – 2h

Starting from Como town, we’ll first pass the ‘Life Electric’ sculpture, a stunning architectural homage to Alessandro Volta, inventor of the battery.

Then, cruise past a succession of legendary villas: from the majestic Villa Erba and opulent Villa D’Este, to the charming Villa Pizzo and the historically significant Villa Fontanelle (formerly owned by Versace). You’ll also spot the luxurious Villa Rocca Bruna (Mandarin Oriental) and get a glimpse of Villa Oleandra, George Clooney’s famous retreat.

Our journey culminates at the breathtaking ‘Orrido di Nesso,’ a unique natural gorge featuring a dramatic canyon and a magnificent waterfall. Here, you’ll also admire the iconic Civera Bridge, renowned for its ancient Romanesque origins and perfect arch.
